ABC Channel Apologized Priyanka Chopra.

The ABC channel made a blunder this week, confusing “Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra with another Indian actress in a promo advertising a “Nightline” interview with the Bollywood star. The network quickly issued an apology for the mistake.

Ironically, the story — which is headlined “How ‘Quantico’ Star Priyanka Chopra Dealt With Race Issues,” deals with Chopra’s racial bullying while attending school in the U.S. and prejudice she encountered throughout her life. Social media users were quick to point out the mistake.

The promo footage shows Indian actress Yukta Mookhey, instead of Chopra. “Nightline” quickly apologized and corrected the promo. ABC’s Nightline made an embarrassing blunder on Tuesday, , when the news program mistakenly used footage of Indian actress Yukta Mookhey in place of Priyanka Chopra for a special feature segment on Chopra’s new role on the network’s new crime series Quantico.

In the since-edited story, Nightline erroneously included a clip of Mookhey being crowned Miss World in 1999. Chopra, 33, was crowned Miss World in 2000.

Several eagle-eyed fans were quick to call out the error. “Uh oh, @Nightline! That’s Yukta Mokhey when she was crowned Miss World. Not @priyankachopra!” fashion blog High Heel Confidential pointed out on Twitter. “Whoops, ABC promoted their new show with a photo of the wrong Indian woman,” another Twitter user noted.
