Senior journalist and Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana has reportedly decided to quit the prestigious position? Sources at Somajiguda press club said that he may shortly resign from the prestigious post, due to `suffocation’ at Secretariat. “ Allam Narayana may take up new assignment with his former boss CL Rajam,” another senior journalist told. Not happy with the ongoing developments with related to press academy, Allam Narayana has taken this decision, he added. Committed to value based journalism, Narayana has been in forefront to safeguard the interests of the journalists, in number of occasions.

Allam Narayana, now became the hot choice of CL Rajam, founder chairman of Namaste Telangana, who wish to launch his own Telugu daily. Being briefed by BJP Supremo Amit Shaw, the infra-baron C L Rajam has contemplated to launch a new Telugu daily, for which Narayana was chosen as editor, a former chairman of Press academy shared these inputs within his close circles. Rajam is the first entrepreneur in media from the land of Telangana, whose first venture-Namaste Telangana became a big success. Rajam also kept himself away from KCR, following the forcible developments, after the takeover of Namaste Telangana by KCR family. He was reportedly assured Rajaysabha seat by KCR, and within no time Rajam could grasp that his desire of becoming Member, Rajyasabha wouldn’t be fulfilled.
