Konidela Niharika to make her Kollywood debut

Mega heroine Niharika Konidela might be one film old in Telugu, but that’s not stopping her from venturing into Kollywood. Niharika, who has been waiting for good scripts to come her way, has recently agreed to act in Arumuga Kumar’s maiden directorial venture, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Karthik.
A source close to the unit said that the story sealed the deal for Niharika as it had enough scope for her to shine. Plus, she is excited at the prospect of sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi who she admires. The actress who has been busy working on a web series with her father Naga Babu, Nanna Koochi, is set to foray into Tamil cinema soon. In the film, he has his roots in Andhra but speaks Tamil. The comedy entertainer went on to floors in Chennai recently. The movie is said to be a romantic entertainer and was recently launched. For now, we will have to wait and watch if this princess is really going to take up this project and prove herself in other languages.
